“The name of the flag is “AWAKEN!” The flag is based on Zechariah 1:8-11. This is a time in history when Israel was complacent in her sins and the Lord sent angels on red horses to observe the condition of the people of the land. After reading this story in scripture I began to write by the inspiration of the Spirit:
AWAKEN! For destruction is coming! AWAKEN, trim your lamps! AWAKEN out of your slumber! AWAKEN the King is coming and He is dressed in His battle attire! AWAKEN to the sound of His thunder! AWAKEN and take your place in the battalion of God! AWAKEN righteousness, AWAKEN joy, AWAKEN Holy Spirit within each one! The Kingdom of God is coming! It is ever present here and now – Spring forth! HE IS HERE!” ~Karen
