Intercession Tabret The meaning of the camouflage tabret with the sword, arrow, and battle-ax on it. This tabret is used in spiritual warfare and intercession,
II Samuel 22:33-37. “God is my strength and Power, and He maketh my way perfect. He maketh My feet like hinds feet; and sitteth me upon my high places, He teacheth my hands to war; so that a bow of steel is broken by my arms. Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation, and thy gentleness hath made me great. Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, so that my feet did not slip.” Ps.18:34-36; “He teacheth my hands to war. So that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms. Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation, and thy right hand holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great. I have pursued mine enemies, and overtaken them: Neither did I turn again till they were consumed.” It is wisdom to pray to cleanse yourself of any unrighteousness, before entering into any type of intercession. Reciting the Lords Prayer with an earnest and repentant heart will cleanse you. The next step is to put on your spiritual armor. Eph.6: 12; now you are ready to enter in.
We are commissioned by the Lord as soldiers in his spiritual forces to do warfare and carry out the judgement written against the leader of lawlessness and his demonic forces in the heavenlies. This is an order from our commander and chief, The Lord of Hosts. The way we fight determines our victory. The Lord says to fight our battles with Praise.
Ps.149:6 “Let the high praises of God be in their mouth and a two edged sword in their hand; to execute vengeance upon the heathen and punishments upon the people; to bind their kings with chains and their nobles with fetters of iron. To execute upon the judgement written; this honor have all his saints.” Praise ye the Lord! It is an honor to carry out the judgement of the Lord against his and our enemies in the spiritual realm. God is the judge and he uses us as his law enforcement in the physical realm to carry out his judgements in the spiritual realm. There is no appeal available to these spiritual criminals. We are able to do this warfare to carry out the judgement written only by the authority of the blood of Jesus Christ, The Blood that covers us as born again believers. Not only does his blood cover us, but also it flows through us and out of us.
The symbolic significance of the sword on the tabret represents the word of the Lord being applied in judgement against the principalities and powers in the heavenlies. Lev.26:7; “And ye shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword.” Deut. 32:41; “If I whet my glittering sword, and mine hand take hold on judgement, I will render vengeance to mine enemies, and will reward them that hate me.”
The symbolic significance of the arrow is: Ps. 7:11 God judgeth the righteous and God is angry with the wicked every day. If he turn not he will whet his sword; He hath bent his bow and made it ready. He hath also prepared for him the instruments of death; He ordaineth his arrows against the persecutors.” The Lord’s ordained arrows are His word in the mouth of an intercessor which when spoken becomes a winged word arrow against the enemy. Ps.37:12-15; The wicked plots against the just, and gnashes at him. The Lord laughs at him for he sees that his day is coming. The wicked have bent their bow to cast down the poor and needy, to slay those who are of upright conduct. Their sword shall enter their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.” It is pretty obvious at this point that we must realize that if we think that the enemy will not bother with us, that our testimony or witness is just not that important, we are (spiritually )dead wrong. The truth is that the moment that you ask Jesus into your heart you are commissioned into the armed service of the Lord. There is no de-militarized zone in this war, but with the authority that we carry in the name of Jesus, then and only then will Ps. 45:5 be applied against our enemies. Thine arrows are sharp in the heart of the Kings enemies, whereby the people fall under thee.” Praise the Lord! The spiritual significance of the Battle-ax is as follows: Jer.51:20-21; “Thou art my battle-ax and weapons of war. For with thee will break in pieces the nations, and with thee will destroy kingdoms; and with thee will I break in pieces the horse and his rider; and with thee will I break in pieces the chariot and his rider.” Is.30:32 “and in every place where the grounded staff (staff of punishment, which is the breath of God)shall pass, which the Lord shall lay upon him, it shall be with Tabrets and harps, and in battles of shaking (brandishing) will he fight with it.”
