Description
This streamer is a visible statement that we are a covenant child of the Most High God. We are dancing under the Royal Pavilion of Safety and Joy that the covenant provides for us as believers.
As we dance, we are whirling and twirling with this streamer; we are celebrating the Lord’s sign in the sky to us, which He chose, the rainbow. This rainbow streamer is shouting loud and clear, an unspoken language, a message to the spiritual realm. Two of these messages are:
1. We are a covenant people, we are reminding the Lord of His covenant with us, which He loves for us to do. His promise that He will never destroy the earth again by flood.
2. The whirling symbolizes our God coming into our midst as a whirlwind. He will chase away our enemies as we praise Him.
Isa. 41:16 “Thou shalt fan them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the whirlwind shall scatter them: and thou shalt rejoice in the LORD, and shalt Glory in the Holy One of Israel.”
Jer .23:19 “Behold, a whirlwind of the LORD is gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked.
Isa. 17:13 “The nations shall rush like the rushing of many waters: but God shall rebuke them, and they shall flee far off, and shall be chased as the chaff of the mountains before the wind, and like a rolling thing before the whirlwind.”
Prov. 10:25 “As the whirlwind passeth, so is the wicked no more: but the righteous is an everlasting foundation.”
What a wonderful thing to think about, as we dance. The Lord is going after our enemies. We don’t have to stand and rebuke them and take away precious time from the worship of the Lord, as we do our part, He does His, and we are safe!
