Awaken The Ekklesia Flag
Matthew 16:18-19….. Now I say to you that you are Peter (which means rock), and upon this rock I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it. And I will give you the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you forbid on earth will be forbidden in Heaven and whatever you permit on earth will be permitted in Heaven.
- The word “church” used in Matthew 16:18 is the Greek word, Ekklesia. It is a governmental term used 113 times in the New Testament. When you see church in scripture, it is Ekklesia.
- Ekklesia is not a religious word. It is not a building. Jesus was very specific in the word He used to describe His church and He didn’t use the word for temple or synagogue.
- The Ekklesia is a governing, ruling body responsible to hold natural government, culture, society standard, judges and political leaders accountable to God and His Word. It is a governing, ruling body established by King Jesus to look after His Kingdom on the earth and disciple it.
The Ekklesia governs by declaring what God says on earth. When we say what God says then His principles, His life that is breathed into the Word becomes a creative force that begins to change things on earth. It can change government, it can change nations, it can change a region, it can change the lives of people, it can change a business, it can change our lives. It is what God wants His church to do — to rule and reign with Him.
The color yellow fading into the color orange on the flag represent the dawn or the time of awakening. The color red over the color white are a representation of the blood bought bride of Christ; His church, The Ekklesia.
