Awaken The Ekklesia; 3 in one: Billow, Flag, Veil.
Matthew 16:18-19….. Now I say to you that you are Peter (which means rock), and upon this rock I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it. I will give you the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you forbid on earth will be forbidden in Heaven. Whatever you permit on earth will be permitted in Heaven.
- The word “church” used in Matthew 16:18 is the Greek word Ekklesia. This is a governmental term used 113 times in the New Testament. When you see church mentioned in scripture, it is the Ekklesia.
- Ekklesia is not a religious word. It is not a building. Jesus was very specific in the word He used to describe His church. He didn’t use the word for temple or synagogue.
- The Ekklesia is a governing, ruling body responsible to hold government, culture, society to a biblcal standard. Judges and political leaders are accountable to God and His Word. It is a governing, ruling body established by King Jesus to look after His Kingdom on the earth.
- Purpose of the Ekklesia.
The Ekklesia also known as the “Church” governs by declaring on the earth, what God says in His word, and as we do this; the Angels spring into action, and go forth to perform it.
